Education for Eternity by Kay Ortmans-Pawley If eternity is important, and most of us seem to think it is, why don't we take it more seriously and let go into the eternal experiences rather than work so hard on the periphery? Not long ago, it was said by many that the arts were "frills" and it was difficult to find even a few minutes in an average school curriculum for such trifles. Now it is more generally accepted that the arts help us to become more aware of our state of being and bring forth spontaneity and uniqueness as we respond in creative expression. Many thinkers are accepting the principle of universal oneness and that it is possible to be aware of the past, the present and the future in one moment of time. This concept carries one into a new dimension where we may experience reality through the conscious, subconscious and superconscious simultaneously. Sometimes the flashes of insight that have come while we are in this state of balance have completely changed our lives and brought us back into the universal flow where we are constantly moving, changing, growing and becoming. In this moment, we discover that love seems to be the substance that brings together the many fragments of knowing and helps us become more alive, complete and whole.
