We Create Our World

Through choosing what we will think and do and be, we determine our life pattern. We create vibrations which draw to themselves response from others. When we are caught in a heavy negative vibration, we have the choice to stay in it or move out of it. Dancers are ideally equipped to flow with the wisdom of the body which knows what it needs. Our thinking processes, which create change from day to day, allowing opinions to come and go, do not seem to create harmony within ourselves or with others. Our emotions can cause disruption too, if allowed to impose on others. But the wisdom of the body, which includes the soul, can create a deeper harmony every day if it is surrounded by beauty and allowed to express itself. In this environment, old memories and emotions can surface and the conscious mind can decide what to do with them. Whether to move them out because we do not need them anymore or perpetuate them because we are not ready to change is an individual matter. It seems to be that movement is a natural part of life and will help create harmony in the individual and in the group if it is accompanied by fine music. Getting in touch with our feelings without judging them opens the door to deeper and deeper release of self-imposed blocks. We may feel that life situations have caused us to withdraw and hold in our sensitivity for fear of being hurt or criticized. But by simple approaches, dropping off the old hurts or feelings through giving them no more power, an unfolding of the real self can bring about an inner harmony and peace. There are many ways of doing this and each individual will determine what is best for himself or herself, through movement and dance, through color and music, through sharing, writing or using any of the arts. The important reminder seems to be to relax and trust and leave enough freedom for releasing the old vibrations and making room for a higher vibration to take its place. This is what we mean by the "rebound" because through this process, a new hope is generated and the seemingly impossible becomes possible. There is a place for everyone in the world to live creatively and become part of a fresh beginning. All we need is to free ourselves of old limitations and fear of the unknown. All is well. LET'S MOVE!
